Membership Registration

The Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria – CIPMN has various membership categories. The two main categories eligible for being granted a license alongside after completing all relevant requirements are the Fellow and Chartered Categories Only.

Fellow Membership Requirements

He / she should be a member of a relevant professional or administrative standing who is willing to;

  1. Submit a request (Click) and write an application through council request via the registrar which may be approved after the council comprehensive review.
  2. When approved, Candidates will be required to make the payment of the  sum of N1,500,000 for the category

Other Requirements

  1. Has served as a chartered member for at least 5years and have applied for the Fellowship Category or have experience in a senior Project Management post in a private or public organization for minimum 7years.
  2. Be in the most senior level within the Institute and stand the opportunity of presenting papers during CIPMN’s events.

  4. Tick Fellowship and Enter Amount N520,000 (this is the amount plus the membership registration form fee of N20,000)
  5. Enter name, Phone Number and Email
  6. Click Submit.

PAY HERE

  • Chartered Member (N250,000): In this category, you will be in a senior position within the Institute. Eligible to contest in the CIPMN’s leadership elections, along with the opportunity to present opinion papers during CIPMN’s events. Ideally, you must have passed all examinations prescribed by the council and have a minimum of two years continuous experience.
    1. One year minimum experience to register as a Chartered CIPMN member.
    2. You will be required to update your professional knowledge at least once a year through CIPMN’s Mandatory proficiency program.
    3. Eligible to be elected to any leadership position.
    4. Eligible to apply for and secure your license to practice.

  4. Tick CHARTERED and Enter Amount N260,000 (this is the amount plus the membership registration form fee of N10,000)
  5. Enter name, Phone Number and Email
  6. Click Submit.

PAY HERE

  • Associate Member (N150,000): If he is in possession of requisite qualifications from other fields of study as may be determined from time to time by the Council.
    1. Cannot vote or be voted for
    2. Name shall appear in the membership register.
    3. This member cannot stand for the CIPMN’s leadership elections

  2. Type in Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria
  3. Choose “Membership Fees” from the dropdown
  4. Tick ASSOCIATE and Enter Amount N160,000(this is the amount plus the membership registration form fee of N10,000)
  5. Enter name, Phone Number and Email
  6. Click Submit.

PAY HERE

  • Graduate Member (N100,000): If he is in possession of requisite academic qualification and has passed all the examinations prescribed by the Council. 
    1. Cannot vote or be voted for
    2. Name shall appear in the membership register.
    3. This member cannot stand for the CIPMN’s leadership elections

  2. Type in Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria
  3. Choose “Membership Fees” from the dropdown
  4. Tick GRADUATE and Enter Amount N110,000 (this is the amount plus the membership registration form fee of N10,000)
  5. Enter name, Phone Number and Email
  6. Click Submit.

PAY HERE

  • Student Member (N50,000): If he is pursuing a course in Project Management in any institution approved by the Council.
    1. Is not eligible to vote or be voted for
    2. Name shall not appear in the membership register.

  2. Type in Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria
  3. Choose “Membership Fees” from the dropdown
  4. Tick STUDENT and Enter Amount N55,000 (this is the amount plus the membership registration form fee of N5,000)
  5. Enter name, Phone Number and Email
  6. Click Submit.

PAY HERE

  • Honorary Fellow (At institutes discretion): If he is a person of distinction in the Field of Project Management, Law, Accounting, Politics, Economics, Management, Engineering, or any similar discipline.
    1. Cannot vote or be voted for.
    2. No payment is required for this

  • Corporate Member (Varies by company): If it is an employer of labour and meets the criteria set by the Council for registration.
    1. All staff performing Project Management functions to be registered with the Institute so as to maintain ethical standards and self-regulating requirements.
